About the role
We are looking for a mid‑level backend Software Engineer to design, develop, and improve backend services. The role involves creating robust solutions, debugging complex issues, and contributing technical insights for AI‑related projects.
Key responsibilities
- Design and implement backend features, fix bugs, and enhance system performance.
- Develop reference solutions and verification mechanisms for coding challenges.
- Analyze, debug, and resolve software issues across multiple codebases.
- Refactor code to improve maintainability, scalability, and reliability.
- Review software solutions, assess code quality, and document technical reasoning.
Required profile
- Strong backend development experience with languages such as Python, Java, Go, Rust, TypeScript, C++ or Node.js.
- Proven ability to build scalable services and APIs.
- Excellent debugging, performance‑optimization, and automated‑testing skills.

What we offer
- Remuneration: NGN 700,000 per month.
- Contractor role with approximately 15 hours per week.
