About the role
We are seeking a qualified and experienced Accountant to oversee financial reporting, accounting operations, reconciliations, compliance, and financial management activities within a manufacturing environment.
Key responsibilities
- Prepare and review financial statements and management reports.
- Manage day-to-day accounting and financial transactions.
- Perform bank, ledger, and account reconciliations.
- Monitor accounts payable and receivable.
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards and tax regulations.
- Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.
- Support audits and maintain accurate financial records.
Required profile
- B.Sc./HND in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- ACA/ICAN qualification is required.
- 4–8 years of relevant accounting experience.
- Previous accounting experience in a manufacturing company.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software.
- Strong analytical, numerical, and problem‑solving skills.
- Good knowledge of financial reporting and Nigerian tax regulations.
