About the role
Access Bank is seeking an energetic Relationship Manager to lead and grow its corporate client portfolio. You will act as the face of the bank, delivering tailored financial solutions while upholding the bank’s commitment to excellence, diversity, and inclusion.
Key responsibilities
- Identify and market to prospective corporate customers, creating work schedules for outreach.
- Maintain strong public relations with existing and potential clients.
- Structure credit facilities, prepare and review credit proposals, and present them to the Credit Committee.
- Negotiate foreign exchange and credit rates within approved limits.
- Monitor unit performance against monthly, quarterly, and annual targets.
- Prepare the unit’s annual budget and monthly profitability reports for consolidation.
- Provide on‑the‑job training for Account Officers and appraise supervised staff.
Required profile
- Minimum 5 years banking experience, including 2–3 years in a team‑lead role.
- First degree in any discipline; a relevant master’s or professional certification is a plus.
- Strong analytical ability, attention to detail, and client‑focused mindset.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills and a professional attitude.
