About the role
We are looking for a dynamic Regional Sales Manager to lead our animal feed business across South‑West Nigeria. You will be responsible for driving revenue growth, managing a team of Area Sales Managers and field representatives, and building strong relationships with farmers and feed distributors.
Key responsibilities
- Lead, coach and motivate a team of Area Sales Managers and field sales representatives, conducting performance reviews and fostering a high‑performance culture.
- Develop and implement a regional sales strategy, set territory plans, revenue targets and market development priorities.
- Own regional revenue, volume and margin targets, analyse KPI data, identify gaps and execute corrective actions.
- Partner with marketing to deliver brand activation, farmer education programmes, field demonstrations and trade events.
- Negotiate and close high‑value sales agreements, distribution contracts and strategic partnerships while protecting margins.
- Monitor competitor activity, pricing trends and market developments, providing intelligence reports to the national sales director.
- Consolidate sales forecasts, pipeline reports and budgets to support inventory, production and financial planning.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree or HND from a recognised institution.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in sales, preferably within the animal feed or agribusiness sector.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, negotiation and problem‑solving abilities.
