Key Account Manager – Oil & Gas

About the role

The Key Account Manager will drive Sika Nigeria’s growth in the oil & gas sector by identifying new business opportunities, increasing sales profitability and ensuring high customer satisfaction. Reporting to the Head of Vertical Market – Infrastructure, the role combines strategic account development with technical solution selling.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and increase sales and business opportunities for Sika Nigeria in the oil & gas market.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, consultants and other stakeholders.
• Manage key accounts and projects within the assigned coverage area.
• Ensure prescriptive selling of the right solutions to meet customer needs.
• Oversee credit sales management, utilization and recovery.
• Improve market coverage and develop new market segments or application fields.
• Plan and deliver technical trainings, workshops and seminars.
• Provide accurate sales forecasts and reporting.

Required profile

• 5+ years of relevant experience in a similar role.
• HND/BSc in Engineering, Environmental Sciences or a related field.
• Professional certification (COREN) preferred.
• Hands‑on experience in the construction industry and built‑up environment.
• Experience with ERP systems, CRM and Salesforce.
• Understanding of micro and macro economic metrics.
