Junior Legal Officer

About the role

Tetra Maritime is seeking a highly organised Junior Legal Officer to support its global governance, compliance and corporate administration functions. The role will involve working across multiple jurisdictions and interacting with internal teams, banks, auditors and external counsel.

Key responsibilities

• Support statutory filings and corporate registry submissions in the UK, Singapore, Bermuda, India and other jurisdictions.
• Assist with entity management and corporate administration for a global portfolio of special purpose vehicles.
• Draft board minutes, written resolutions and maintain statutory registers and corporate records.
• Conduct KYC/AML onboarding and compliance checks on third‑party partners.
• Prepare KYC documentation and group structure charts for banks, counterparties and service providers.
• Coordinate cross‑border incorporations, dissolutions and corporate changes.
• Support intragroup restructurings and joint‑venture documentation.
• Maintain departmental trackers, databases and filing systems.
• Liaise with banks, auditors, legal counsel and corporate service providers.
• Provide general administrative, compliance and company secretarial support to the legal team.

Required profile

• At least 1 year of experience in a legal, compliance, corporate services or financial services environment.
• Exposure to company secretarial work, statutory filings, KYC/AML compliance and cross‑border corporate changes.
• Strong drafting and document‑preparation skills with high attention to detail.
• Excellent organisational abilities and capacity to manage multiple fast‑moving matters.
• Confident interpersonal skills for liaising with internal and external stakeholders.
