IT Compliance Auditor

About the role

The IT Compliance Auditor will work with the Audit Lead to plan and execute internal audits across multiple locations. The role involves assessing financial reporting, operational risks, and IT controls to ensure compliance with company policies and external regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and conduct internal audits, interviewing staff and gathering evidence.
• Analyze data to identify financial reporting errors, fraud, and operational risks.
• Evaluate compliance with company policies, procedures, and external regulations.
• Review internal control policies and assess risk management processes.
• Perform risk‑based reviews of IT systems and identify security lapses.
• Participate in IT projects to identify risks and recommend appropriate controls.

Required profile

• HND or BSc degree in Accounting, Business Administration, IT or related field; Master’s degree is a plus.
• Minimum 3 years experience in internal audit, internal control, IT audit or IT control.
• Professional certifications such as ACA, ACCA, CIA, CISA or CISM are advantageous.
• Strong analytical, numerical and problem‑solving abilities with high attention to detail.
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment and communicate findings clearly.
