About the role
We are seeking an experienced Insurance Sales Unit Manager to lead a high‑performing sales team in Lagos. You will drive new business acquisition, nurture client relationships, and promote a portfolio of life insurance and investment products.
Key responsibilities
- Identify and generate new business opportunities across organizations and multinationals.
- Build, coach, and manage a sales team to achieve and exceed targets.
- Promote and sell life insurance, personalized investment products, pure protection plans, endowment, pension and annuity plans.
- Prepare proposals, negotiate terms, and close deals.
- Ensure premium collections, long‑term client retention, and compliance with company policies.
- Collaborate with internal departments to deliver excellent client service.
Required profile
- Minimum 2 years of experience in insurance or banking sales.
- Proven ability to lead or quickly build a sales team.
- Strong communication, negotiation and interpersonal skills.
- Resilient, target‑driven and able to thrive under pressure.
- HND or BSc in any discipline.
