Human Resources Manager

About the role

Ubetter Technology Company Limited, a manufacturer of rechargeable lithium battery cells and integrated battery modules, is hiring a full-time, on-site Human Resources Manager in Lagos. The manager oversees end-to-end HR operations, including recruitment, onboarding, performance management and employee relations, and develops and implements HR policies while ensuring compliance with labour regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee recruitment, onboarding, performance management and employee relations
• Develop and implement HR policies and ensure compliance with labour regulations
• Support workforce planning aligned with business goals
• Coordinate training and development programmes
• Manage compensation and benefits processes
• Maintain accurate HR records and advise managers on best practices
• Foster a positive work culture, manage conflict resolution and partner with leadership on engagement and retention initiatives

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration or a related field; advanced HR certifications such as CIPM, SHRM or CIPD are an advantage
• Several years of progressive HR experience, ideally in manufacturing, technology or energy sectors
• Strong communication, interpersonal and organisational skills, able to work on-site and collaborate across teams
