About the role
The Human Resources Officer will support the daily operations of the HR department at Nepal Energies Limited in Ikoyi, Lagos. The role covers recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, payroll support, compliance, and staff welfare to ensure a productive work environment.
Key responsibilities
- Support recruitment and selection processes, including job postings, screening, interviews, and onboarding.
- Maintain and update employee records and HR databases.
- Assist in preparing employment letters, contracts, and other HR documentation.
- Coordinate staff onboarding, induction, and exit processes.
- Monitor employee attendance, leave management, and disciplinary matters.
- Support payroll administration by ensuring timely submission of employee data and updates.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, labor laws, and HR best practices.
- Handle employee inquiries and provide HR support where necessary.
- Assist in organizing staff training, engagement, and welfare programs.
- Prepare HR reports and other administrative documentation as required.
- Support performance management and appraisal processes.
- Maintain confidentiality of employee information and HR records.
