Home Tutor for Preschool Literacy & Numeracy – Lekki Phase 1

About the role

We are seeking a dedicated home tutor to support the early education of a preschool‑aged boy in Lekki Phase 1, Lagos. The role involves delivering focused literacy, numeracy, and phonics lessons at the client’s residence.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct one‑hour tutoring sessions on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays at 4:00 PM.
• Follow the Nigerian preschool curriculum to teach basic reading, writing, and arithmetic concepts.
• Motivate the child and keep lessons engaging to maintain progress.
• Track learning outcomes and provide brief updates to the parent.

Required profile

• Experience working with preschool children, preferably in early childhood education.
• Ability to create a supportive and encouraging learning environment.
• Flexible to travel to the client’s home in Lekki Phase 1.

Required skills

• Knowledge of literacy and numeracy teaching methods.
• Familiarity with the Nigerian preschool curriculum.
