Fullstack Development Instructor – MERN Stack

About the role

ITSkillsCenter is seeking a passionate Fullstack Development Instructor to join its teaching team. You will design, deliver and continuously improve a MERN‑stack curriculum, guiding learners from beginner to job‑ready level.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, prepare and deliver engaging lessons on MongoDB, Express.js, React and Node.js.
• Develop and maintain up‑to‑date course materials, projects and assessments aligned with industry standards.
• Provide hands‑on mentorship, code reviews and technical interview coaching.
• Guide students through real‑world projects from requirements gathering to deployment.
• Track progress, identify learning gaps and adapt teaching methods accordingly.
• Collaborate with the curriculum team to refine content and outcomes.
• Stay current with emerging technologies and integrate relevant updates.

Required profile

• Strong ability to explain complex technical concepts in clear, accessible language.
• Patience and adaptability when working with learners of varying skill levels.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Required skills

• MERN stack: MongoDB, Express.js, React.js, Node.js.
• RESTful API design and integration.
• State management (Redux, Context API or equivalent).
• HTML5, CSS3, modern JavaScript (ES6+).
• Git and GitHub workflows.
• Authentication/authorization mechanisms (JWT, OAuth).
• Deployment platforms (Vercel, Netlify, Render; basic AWS/GCP knowledge a plus).
• Database design and querying in MongoDB; familiarity with SQL databases is a plus.
