Head of Sales

About the role
We are seeking a commercially driven and strategically minded Head of Sales to lead and scale the sales function at CloudPlexo, a global leader in cloud‑native IT consulting. The role reports to the executive team and is responsible for delivering revenue growth across new business and account expansion while building a high‑performance sales organisation.
Key responsibilities
- Own and achieve annual revenue targets for new and existing customers.
- Define and execute go‑to‑market strategies aligned with corporate growth objectives.
- Identify new market verticals, service lines and opportunities.
- Maintain an accurately forecasted pipeline and report regularly to senior leadership.
- Lead, mentor and develop account executives, business development managers and sales staff.
- Establish a culture of accountability, continuous learning and client‑centricity.
- Serve as executive sponsor for key accounts, building relationships with CIO, CTO and CFO stakeholders.
- Design and optimise end‑to‑end sales processes, enforce CRM discipline and develop pricing and proposal frameworks.
- Collaborate with marketing, delivery, pre‑sales and finance teams to craft compelling proposals and ensure commercial alignment.
Required profile
- 15+ years of progressive B2B sales experience, preferably in IT consulting or professional services.
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding revenue targets at senior leadership level.
- Strong ability to engage C‑suite executives and influence strategic decisions.
- Demonstrated experience building and scaling high‑performing sales teams.
