Group Chief Financial Officer (GCFO)

About the role

The Group Chief Financial Officer (GCFO) will provide strategic financial leadership for Sohcahtoa Holdings, overseeing all financial operations, investor relations, and long‑term financial strategy. This senior role reports directly to the executive board and drives value creation across the group.

Key responsibilities

• Define and execute financial strategies aligned with the group’s vision and market realities.
• Optimize resource allocation, focusing on measurable returns and high‑impact investments.
• Develop a data‑driven investment philosophy for portfolio management and divestitures.
• Identify process inefficiencies, build robust financial controls, and enhance transparency.
• Establish a performance culture with clear financial KPIs and continuous feedback loops.
• Investigate growth opportunities and design solutions to capture them.
• Design a comprehensive risk framework and implement safeguards.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics or related field; MBA preferred.
• Professional certification such as ICAN, ACCA or CFA.
• Proven experience in designing scalable financial systems.
• Strong communication skills across all organizational levels.
• Critical thinking and ability to challenge assumptions.
