GitHub Contributor – Remote Contract Role

About the role

We are looking for a skilled GitHub Contributor to create and maintain tasks that evaluate AI models on real code repositories. You will work remotely, providing reproducible environments, reference solutions, and detailed technical reasoning to improve training‑data quality.

Key responsibilities

• Build tasks from real repositories that test AI models for bug fixing, feature addition, refactoring, and performance improvement.
• Provide a reproducible environment and a reference solution for each task.
• Investigate and resolve difficult defects and performance bottlenecks across varied code bases.
• Refactor legacy code for clarity, efficiency, and long‑term reliability.
• Document technical reasoning and code decisions to raise training‑data quality.
• Follow project guidelines, participate in calibration and review sessions, and incorporate feedback to maintain consistent quality.

Required profile

• Public record of open‑source contributions on GitHub or GitLab.
• At least 3 years of software engineering experience.
• Fluent written English.
• Reliable, detail‑oriented, and able to work independently and meet deadlines in a remote setting.
