Field Service Engineer, Water

About the role

The Field Service Engineer – Water will provide on‑site technical support and supervision for Alaro City’s water treatment plant, trunk water line, tank farm and distribution network. Reporting to the Senior Utilities Manager, the role ensures continuous delivery of potable water to the city’s residents and commercial customers.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise operation and maintenance of water treatment plants and the city‑wide distribution network to guarantee 24/7 water availability.
• Facilitate water supply and sales to construction and operational customers, including billing and loss monitoring.
• Monitor daily water demand versus plant production capacity and recommend expansion works when needed.
• Perform mechanical assembly, plumbing, and connection/disconnection tasks using power and manual tools.
• Provide technical support for water infrastructure development and handle minor break‑fixes on site.
• Document client service requests, ensure timely resolution, and supervise the water engineering team.
• Conduct routine inspections and final checkout of water installations to maintain quality standards.

Required profile

• Experience operating and maintaining water treatment plants and distribution networks.
• Ability to supervise technical teams and coordinate routine engineering activities.
• Strong problem‑solving skills for on‑site troubleshooting and minor repairs.
