Customer Contact Centre Advisor (Mandarin)

About the role

The Customer Contact Centre Advisor (Mandarin) is the first point of contact for DHL customers in Nigeria and West Africa. Working from the Lagos office, you will handle inbound enquiries in both English and Mandarin, providing accurate information on bookings, shipment status, customs requirements and pricing.

Key responsibilities

• Accept and register bookings for DHL services in English and Mandarin.
• Provide professional assistance via phone, email and other channels to Chinese‑speaking customers.
• Offer alternative solutions and identify sales opportunities during interactions.
• Deliver accurate information on customs, transit times and rates.
• Maintain high service standards with professionalism and empathy.
• Build customer confidence by clearly communicating next steps and resolving issues promptly.

Required profile

• Fluency in Mandarin Chinese (spoken and written) – mandatory.
• Strong command of English.
• Excellent communication and problem‑solving abilities.
• Customer‑focused attitude with the ability to handle diverse cultural contexts.
