About the role
The Associate Business Manager (Thalbourne & Chartering) supports the smooth operation of Tetra Maritime’s administrative and operational activities in Lagos. The role combines governance, project execution, travel logistics, vendor management and financial oversight to enable the business to meet its objectives.
Key responsibilities
- Act as the central control point for all administrative activities, maintaining master trackers for travel, events, vendors, spend, reimbursements and brand assets.
- Plan and deliver operational initiatives, events and stakeholder meetings, ensuring timelines, budgets and quality standards are met.
- Manage end‑to‑end travel and executive logistics, including flights, accommodation, visas and ground transport, while monitoring documentation validity.
- Identify, evaluate and onboard vendors, conduct cost‑benefit analysis, negotiate terms and monitor performance.
- Oversee reimbursement and staff expense processes, ensure policy compliance, review VAT treatment and coordinate with Finance.
- Maintain accurate administrative data across spend, travel, vendors and events, providing analytics and reporting.
Required profile
- Strong sense of ownership and analytical discipline.
- Ability to establish and enforce administrative standards and guardrails.
- Experience in coordinating projects, events and travel logistics.
- Proficiency in vendor due‑diligence and financial oversight.
