Accountant - Shared Services

About the role

We are looking for a detail‑oriented Accountant to join our Global Finance Shared Services team. The role supports bookkeeping, financial reporting, month‑end close and reconciliations for multiple international entities, ensuring accurate records and strong compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain and update the general ledger for all entities.
• Record journal entries and ensure proper transaction classification.
• Perform monthly bank reconciliations across all accounts.
• Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes.
• Support monthly, quarterly and year‑end closing activities.
• Assist in the preparation of financial statements and reports.
• Provide documentation for internal and external audits.
• Ensure accuracy, consistency and integrity of financial data across systems.
• Maintain supporting schedules and audit‑ready documentation.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field.
• ICAN / ACCA qualification (part‑qualified or qualified preferred).
• 3‑6 years of accounting experience, preferably in multi‑entity or shared‑services environments.
• Strong understanding of bookkeeping and accounting principles.
• Ability to work in fast‑paced, remote or hybrid settings.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Experience with accounting software such as QuickBooks, Xero or Sage.
