About the role
We are looking for a diligent Accountant to join our finance team in Lagos. The role involves managing day‑to‑day accounting activities for a tourism and travel business, ensuring accurate financial records and timely invoicing.
Key responsibilities
- Follow up on overdue invoices to secure payment.
- Perform daily, weekly and monthly account reconciliations.
- Post all receipts and sales transactions (tickets, visas, hotels) into the accounting software.
- Prepare and issue invoices for services rendered.
- File PAYE annual returns and ensure compliance with tax regulations.
Required profile
- Minimum of 4 years of relevant accounting experience.
- Degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field.
- Mid‑level professional with strong attention to detail.
