SOC Level 3 – Senior Security Operations Analyst

About the role

The SOC Level 3 position is a senior role responsible for tailoring and managing security operations across on‑premise and cloud environments. You will lead the monitoring, detection, and response activities that protect the organization’s infrastructure and data.

Key responsibilities

• Customize the SIEM solution to align with unique infrastructure and business requirements.
• Monitor performance of security systems and maintain key security posture metrics.
• Oversee identity and access management alerts, endpoint monitoring, and network defenses.
• Conduct vulnerability assessments, threat identification, incident detection, forensic investigations, and patch management.
• Collaborate with infrastructure and application teams to remediate findings.
• Produce executive security dashboards and actionable reporting.
• Stay updated on threat intelligence feeds and emerging industry threats.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or HND in Computer Science, IT, or a related cybersecurity field.
• Minimum 7 years of cybersecurity experience, including at least 5 years as a SOC Analyst.
• Strong communication skills with both technical and business stakeholders.
• Familiarity with regulatory frameworks such as NIST, PCI, and ISO 27001.

• Windows, Unix and Linux operating systems.
• Arcsight SIEM platform.
• Endpoint Detection and Response tools (Falcon, CrowdStrike).
• Packet analysis and network monitoring tools.
• Host‑based and network intrusion prevention systems (HIPS/NIPS).
• ServiceNow ticketing system.
