Senior Network Engineer

About the role

The Senior Network Engineer will design, deploy and maintain carrier‑grade network infrastructure for enterprise customers in Abuja. You will work on‑site in a fast‑growing ICT company that specializes in cloud, cyber security and data‑center solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, direct and coordinate network projects to meet SLA requirements.
• Implement and support switching and routing technologies such as BGP, OSPF, MPLS/VPLS, and related protocols.
• Configure and troubleshoot LAN/WAN/WLAN links, VPN, DMVPN, SDN, and QoS services.
• Supervise IP/MPLS service installations, testing and hand‑over.
• Perform corrective maintenance and develop automation tools for network operations.
• Participate in network design, topology development and capacity planning for core, access, metro and edge layers.

Required profile

• Minimum 7‑10 years of hands‑on experience in enterprise networking.
• Proven ability to analyse and resolve complex network failures and bottlenecks.
• Experience with on‑call support for MPLS L2VPN and related services.
• Strong understanding of network security, monitoring and documentation practices.
