VAS Developer (Intermediate, Specialist, Consultant)

About the role

We are looking for a VAS Developer to design, build and maintain value‑added services across our telecom platforms. The role spans intermediate to consultant levels and involves working closely with product, engineering, QA and business teams.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and integrate applications, APIs and enterprise services for telecom platforms.
• Participate in deployment, operational support and incident resolution activities.
• Ensure scalability, performance, reliability and adherence to coding and operational standards.
• Produce and maintain technical documentation, operational guides and audit‑ready logs.
• Collaborate within governance frameworks and support multiple VAS initiatives.
• Adapt quickly to evolving telecom technologies and work under defined timelines.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems or related field (NYSC completed).
• 7‑15+ years of experience in enterprise‑scale digital or technology environments.
• Strong understanding of SDLC, Agile delivery (Scrum/Kanban) and cross‑functional collaboration.
• Excellent written and verbal communication, analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
