Technical Manager

About the role

Galooli is seeking a Technical Manager to lead and optimise technical operations for its industrial IoT and telecom solutions. The role involves overseeing site installations, maintenance, and integration while ensuring project delivery aligns with client specifications.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate site installation, maintenance, commissioning, and integration activities.
• Manage daily operations of field engineers and technical teams across multiple locations.
• Ensure timely completion of telecom projects and preventive/corrective maintenance activities.
• Monitor project schedules, site progress, and technical deliverables to ensure compliance with client specifications.
• Provide technical support and troubleshooting guidance for field-related issues.
• Ensure proper documentation of technical activities, reports, and project records.
• Review technical reports, escalation reports, and site closure documents.
• Coordinate with clients, vendors, and subcontractors on technical and operational matters.

Required profile

• University degree or HND in Engineering, Physics, Computer Science or a related discipline.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in telecom operations, site management, or technical supervision.
• Proven experience managing engineers and technical field teams.
• Management certification is a plus.
• Strong knowledge of telecom infrastructure, site operations, and maintenance processes.
• Good understanding of telecom site health and safety standards.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools and technical reporting.
