Senior Business Development Manager

About the role

We are looking for a dynamic Senior Business Development Manager to build, lead, and mentor a high‑performing sales team focused on SMEs in the foreign‑trade sector. You will drive growth by promoting XTransfer’s cross‑border collection, payment, FX settlement, and risk‑control solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and manage a team of 5‑10 sales representatives, fostering a competitive and collaborative culture.
• Own daily sales process management, track performance data, and ensure adherence to activity standards.
• Conduct field coaching and joint visits to help close deals and overcome objections.
• Develop and execute localized go‑to‑market plans to acquire new B2B merchant clients (SME exporters).
• Utilise telemarketing and strategic in‑person visits to generate leads and close sales.
• Analyse client needs and tailor cross‑border payment solutions to support international growth.
• Leverage data analytics to optimise SOPs, improve sales efficiency, and refine strategies.
• Build and maintain a personal network of B2B traders, service providers, and industry associations.
• Provide regular reports on team performance, market feedback, and competitive intelligence to senior management.

Required profile

• Associate degree or higher.
• Minimum 2 years of sales‑management experience, leading a team of at least five members.
• Proven track record of achieving sales targets in a B2B environment.
• Strong understanding of the local export‑trade market.
