Sales Merchandiser

About the role

We are looking for a proactive Sales Merchandiser to join our distribution team in Lagos. You will be responsible for ensuring our FMCG products are well‑presented and stocked across assigned retail outlets, driving sales and brand visibility.

Key responsibilities

• Visit assigned shops, supermarkets and retail outlets to verify product placement and stock levels.
• Maintain attractive, well‑stocked displays and monitor pricing against competitors.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with shop owners and retailers.
• Encourage re‑ordering and identify new sales opportunities.
• Record stock, displays, orders and market activities accurately.
• Submit daily or weekly reports on visits and sales performance.
• Support promotional activities and product sampling as needed.

Required profile

• Minimum SSCE qualification; additional education is a plus.
• At least two years of experience in merchandising, sales or FMCG.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Hard‑working, proactive, target‑oriented and able to work independently.
• Familiarity with the Trade Fair area and surrounding markets.
