Resident Internal Auditor – Multiple Locations

About the role

Sundry Foods Limited is seeking qualified Resident Internal Auditors to join its internal audit team across several Nigerian cities. The role involves conducting financial and operational audits, testing controls, and ensuring compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Perform internal audit field work, including audit of accounts payable and verification of invoices.
• Observe end‑of‑month stock and cash counts and vet imprest retirement schedules.
• Prepare weekly audit plans and submit activity reports to the Head of Department.
• Evaluate the adequacy of internal controls and recommend improvements.

Required profile

• BSc/HND in Accounting or an equivalent qualification.
• Minimum of a second class degree.
• Strong analytical mindset with a focus on fraud prevention.
