Production/Baking Assistant

About the role

Downtown Grill Nigeria is looking for a Production/Baking Assistant to join its bakery team in Lagos. You will support daily baking operations, ensuring ingredients are ready, products are prepared to recipe standards, and the work area remains clean and safe.

Key responsibilities

• Assist the baker with measuring, mixing, preparing, and baking products.
• Prepare and organize ingredients, ensuring they are available when needed.
• Help with packaging and proper storage of finished baked goods.
• Maintain a clean and sanitized production area, equipment, and work surfaces.
• Follow recipes, production procedures, and food‑safety standards.
• Load, arrange, and move baking supplies and products as required.
• Monitor ingredient levels and notify the supervisor when supplies run low.
• Support the team with additional bakery production duties as needed.

Required profile

• Basic knowledge of baking and food preparation (preferred).
• Hardworking, punctual, responsible and eager to learn.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast‑paced environment.
• Good personal hygiene and attention to cleanliness.
• Capable of following instructions and working well as part of a team.

What we offer

• Monthly salary between NGN 70,000 and NGN 150,000.
• Full‑time, on‑site position in Lagos.
