Plant HR Business Partner

About the role

The Plant HR Business Partner will lead end‑to‑end HR solutions at the plant level, aligning with corporate HR strategies while supporting the unique demands of plant operations.

Key responsibilities

• Act as a strategic HR partner to plant management, advising on workforce planning, organisational design and people strategy.
• Implement HR policies, frameworks and programmes in line with corporate directives.
• Manage manpower planning, recruitment and deployment of skilled talent for plant operations.
• Handle employee and industrial relations issues, ensuring compliance with labour regulations.
• Lead performance management processes, including goal setting and reviews.
• Oversee learning and development interventions.
• Monitor HR metrics and analytics to improve productivity.
• Ensure compliance with statutory labour laws and HR governance standards.
• Drive change management initiatives.

Required profile

• Minimum 15 years progressive HR experience, with at least 5 years at Head of Department level.
• Plant or manufacturing operations experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Industrial Relations or Social Sciences.
• Chartered HR practitioner (CIPMN/SHRM/CIPD).
