Operations/Project Manager

About the role

The Operations/Project Manager will lead the planning, execution, and delivery of construction and interior‑fitout projects in Lagos. You will act as the main liaison between clients, design teams, contractors, and suppliers to ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and coordinate project activities, timelines, resources and deliverables.
• Supervise site supervisors, artisans, contractors, vendors and other stakeholders.
• Monitor progress against approved designs, scope, specifications and schedules.
• Track costs, materials, labour and resources to minimise waste and overruns.
• Work with Procurement to secure timely delivery of materials.
• Conduct regular site inspections and enforce quality standards.
• Identify risks, delays and operational issues and implement corrective actions.
• Collaborate with interior architects/designers to translate designs into execution.
• Maintain clear communication with clients and provide regular project updates.
• Document client requests, variations, approvals and changes.
• Prepare and submit progress reports to management.
• Manage snagging, final inspections and client handover.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree or HND in Project Management, Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Architecture, Building Technology, Quantity Surveying, Interior Design or related field.
• 3–5 years of experience managing construction, interior design or renovation projects.
• Proven ability to oversee projects from planning through completion.
• Experience coordinating contractors, artisans, suppliers and site teams.
• Strong understanding of construction and interior finishing processes.
• Ability to read and interpret architectural and interior design drawings.
• Knowledge of budgeting, costing, scheduling and resource management.
• Project management certification is a plus.
