Live-In Cook

About the role

We are seeking a dedicated live‑in cook to join a private household in Lagos, Marina. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing nutritious meals, managing kitchen operations and supporting light housekeeping while living on‑site.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare fresh, balanced meals daily, including a variety of Nigerian dishes, soups and basic continental recipes.
• Plan weekly menus considering healthy eating and household dietary preferences.
• Maintain high standards of kitchen cleanliness, hygiene and proper food storage.
• Monitor kitchen supplies, assist with grocery shopping and manage inventory.
• Keep cooking utensils and work areas organized and ensure food safety compliance.
• Support light housekeeping tasks and help maintain an orderly home environment.

Required profile

• Female candidate, mature and responsible, comfortable with a live‑in arrangement.
• At least two years of experience as a cook in a private home or similar setting.
• Strong knowledge of healthy cooking, Nigerian cuisine and basic continental dishes.
• Excellent personal hygiene, organization and attention to detail.
• Trustworthy, respectful, patient and reliable with good communication skills.
