About the role
Scott's Legal is seeking a motivated Legal Associate to join its Lagos office. This entry‑level position offers the chance to work on a variety of legal matters while gaining exposure to technology law. You will support senior lawyers and interact directly with clients, balancing courtroom representation with research and drafting tasks.
Key responsibilities
- Represent clients in court proceedings and handle appearances.
- Conduct legal research and draft legal documents.
- Assist senior associates with case preparation and file management.
- Respond to client inquiries and provide basic legal support.
- Manage administrative tasks related to ongoing matters.
- Collaborate with the team on physical office days and deliver effectively on remote days.
Required profile
- Called to the Nigerian Bar.
- Current NYSC corps member.
- Interest or knowledge of Technology Law is an added advantage.
