IT Support Officer

About the role

We are looking for an IT Support Officer to provide first‑level technical assistance to our Lagos office. You will handle hardware, software and network queries, ensuring smooth daily operations for all users.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver 1st‑level support via phone, email, chat or in person.
• Troubleshoot desktops, laptops, printers and other IT devices.
• Install, configure and maintain Windows OS and Microsoft 365 applications.
• Assist users with Outlook, Word, Excel, Teams and basic account issues.
• Perform basic network troubleshooting (LAN/Wi‑Fi, IP, DNS, internet access).
• Create and manage user accounts, password resets and unlocks in Active Directory.
• Support IT asset tracking, software updates, antivirus checks and backups.
• Escalate complex issues to senior IT staff and maintain incident records.

Required profile

• HND or equivalent in Computer Science, IT or related field.
• 1–3 years of experience in IT support, help desk or desktop support.
• Good knowledge of Windows operating systems and common hardware.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office/Microsoft 365.
• Basic understanding of networking concepts (TCP/IP, DHCP, DNS, LAN/Wi‑Fi).
• Experience with Active Directory is a plus.
