Commercial Manager

About the role

The Commercial Manager will drive business development and sales of lending solutions within the fintech space, targeting both MSMEs and large corporates. This role focuses on invoice discounting, LPO financing, export financing, and working‑capital products.

Key responsibilities

• Assess credit risk while ensuring compliance with regulatory and internal policies.
• Generate leads and build new client relationships to meet financial targets.
• Analyse profitability and performance of lending products and initiatives.
• Prepare regular reports on business development activities, sales performance and market trends.
• Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve or exceed revenue goals.
• Monitor sales metrics and KPIs to improve performance.
• Conduct market research to identify new opportunities within the lending fintech industry.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Finance or a related field (Master’s degree is a plus).
• 3‑5 years of proven experience in business development and sales of invoice discounting, LPO financing, export financing or working‑capital solutions.
• In‑depth knowledge of lending products, financial services and industry regulations.
• Strong networking and relationship‑building abilities.
• Goal‑oriented with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
