Architect

About the role

CTL Atlantis is seeking a qualified Architect to join its sustainable development team in Lagos. The role involves creating detailed architectural designs, coordinating with multidisciplinary teams, and ensuring compliance with local regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Develop architectural plans, sections, and elevations using AutoCAD, Revit, ArchiCAD or similar tools.
• Produce 3D models, renders and presentation materials for client and stakeholder review.
• Prepare coordinated technical and construction drawings, integrating structural, MEP and quantity surveying requirements.
• Support planning applications, regulatory approvals and statutory submissions.
• Attend site inspections, document observations, and provide recommendations to resolve construction issues.
• Respond to technical queries from contractors and consultants and review on‑site work for design compliance.
• Maintain accurate drawing registers, project files and revision records.
• Identify design and construction challenges early and collaborate with project teams to resolve them.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Architecture (B.Arch or equivalent).
• Minimum three years of professional experience in architectural practice, construction or property development.
• Registered with ARCON or actively pursuing professional registration.
• Strong portfolio demonstrating architectural design and technical competence.
• Good understanding of Nigerian building regulations, planning requirements and construction standards.
• Ability to work independently while coordinating effectively with project teams.
• Willingness to attend construction sites regularly and interest in sustainable, eco‑friendly design.
