Academic Counsellor – Student Guidance & Admissions

About the role

Study Now is seeking an Academic Counsellor to join its Lagos office. In this full‑time position you will guide prospective students through every step of the university application journey, helping them choose suitable programmes and career paths.

Key responsibilities

• Provide personalized counselling to students on academic and career options.
• Assist applicants with the complete university admission process, including document preparation and deadline management.
• Offer tailored advice that aligns students’ aspirations with appropriate higher‑education pathways.
• Facilitate a smooth transition for students entering their chosen programmes.

Required profile

• Strong background in student and career counselling.
• Experience in academic advising or education support.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Proactive, detail‑oriented and capable of working both independently and within a diverse team.
• Bachelor’s degree in Education, Counseling or a related field (preferred).
• Previous experience in university admissions counselling is an advantage.
• Familiarity with Ghanaian and international higher‑education systems is a plus.
