Tiling Supervisor

About the role

Ascentech is looking for an experienced Tiling Supervisor to lead tile installation activities on residential and commercial projects in Lagos. You will be responsible for ensuring high‑quality finishes, timely delivery, and strict adherence to safety standards across all tiling works.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise tiling works on floors, walls, bathrooms, kitchens and external areas.
• Read and interpret construction drawings, BOQs and project specifications.
• Set out tile layouts, levels and patterns with precision.
• Manage tilers, helpers and subcontractors to meet project schedules.
• Monitor workmanship, alignment, levelling and grouting quality.
• Control material usage, tools and equipment to minimise waste.
• Enforce HSE policies and maintain a safe work environment.
• Prepare daily progress reports and coordinate with the Project Manager or Site Engineer.
• Train and mentor junior tilers on best practices.

Required profile

• Minimum 4 years of supervisory experience in tile installation on building projects.
• Strong knowledge of ceramic, porcelain, granite, marble and mosaic tiles.
• Proven ability to read construction drawings and BOQs.
• Experience managing site teams and delivering quality workmanship.
• Good understanding of HSE standards and site safety practices.
