Store Keeper – Inventory Management

About the role

The Store Keeper will be responsible for maintaining accurate inventory records and ensuring smooth flow of goods in a busy manufacturing and warehousing environment. This full‑time position requires close collaboration with sales, logistics and branch management to support customer fulfillment.

Key responsibilities

• Receive incoming stock, verify quantities, item codes and condition against delivery notes before signing off.
• Maintain up‑to‑date inventory records using stock registers, Excel and inventory software.
• Issue stock only against approved sales orders or dispatch notes.
• Conduct daily, weekly and monthly stock counts and reconcile discrepancies.
• Investigate variances and promptly report unexplained losses to the Branch Manager.
• Ensure proper arrangement, labelling and storage of all items to prevent damage or theft.
• Coordinate with Sales Representatives on product availability for customer orders.
• Prepare complete documentation for all goods leaving the premises and provide written handovers during shift changes.

Required profile

• Minimum HND or BSc in Accounting, Business Administration, Purchasing & Supply, Economics or related field.
• At least 2 years of demonstrable experience in storekeeping, inventory, warehousing or stock control.
• Strong sense of accountability, integrity and personal responsibility.
• Meticulous attention to detail with comfort handling routine record‑keeping.
• Physical fitness for handling and moving furniture items.
• Preference for candidates residing within or able to commute the Lekki–Epe corridor.

Required skills

• Microsoft Excel for inventory records.

• Salary range NGN 150,000‑250,000 per month.
