About the role
The Solar Technician/Engineer will join Mornyray New Energy Nigeria to design, install, and maintain solar photovoltaic systems across Lagos. You will work on site assessments, system wiring, and grid connections while ensuring safety and compliance with local codes. This role offers hands‑on experience with cutting‑edge renewable energy technology.
Key responsibilities
- Conduct site assessments to determine optimal panel placement.
- Install and wire solar PV systems, including inverters and battery storage.
- Connect systems to the electrical grid and perform safety testing.
- Diagnose and repair faults in solar components.
- Perform routine maintenance and inspections.
- Maintain accurate records of installations and service calls.
- Stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies.
- Train other engineering personnel as needed.
Required profile
- Minimum HND in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
- Strong problem‑solving, communication, and listening skills.
- Practical experience in solar design, installation, troubleshooting, and repairs.
- Willingness to grow, learn, and adhere to ethical codes of practice.
