About the role
The Site Engineer will be responsible for supervising daily construction activities on site, ensuring that work aligns with approved drawings, specifications and project timelines. This role reports to the project manager and works closely with contractors, subcontractors and other stakeholders to deliver quality outcomes.
Key responsibilities
- Supervise construction activities and ensure compliance with drawings and specifications.
- Monitor project progress against schedule and budget.
- Inspect materials and workmanship to maintain quality standards.
- Coordinate and direct contractors, subcontractors, artisans and site personnel.
- Enforce health, safety and environmental regulations on site.
- Prepare and maintain daily site reports, progress updates and issue logs.
- Identify and resolve technical challenges, providing practical engineering solutions.
- Liaise with project managers, consultants, clients and regulatory authorities.
Required profile
- Minimum HND qualification.
- At least 3 years of experience in a similar site engineering role.
