Site Engineer – Construction Projects

About the role

Casalavoro Limited is seeking a skilled Site Engineer to lead on‑site construction activities for its diverse portfolio in Lagos. You will ensure that engineering work is executed accurately, safely and in line with project specifications.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise and monitor daily site operations.
• Verify that work follows approved drawings, specifications and safety standards.
• Coordinate with architects, contractors, subcontractors and other professionals.
• Maintain site documentation such as reports, material usage, labor records and progress updates.
• Interpret plans and contract terms for technical staff and clients.
• Ensure materials and workmanship meet quality standards.
• Resolve technical issues and lead on‑site problem‑solving.
• Conduct site inspections and safety audits.
• Manage project timelines, budgeting and reporting.
• Liaise with local authorities for permits, inspections and approvals.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Engineering or a related field.
• 4–7 years of proven experience as a site engineer or in a similar construction role.
• Strong knowledge of engineering principles, construction methods and safety regulations.
• Valid professional certification or licence (preferred but not mandatory).
• Ability to work in fast‑paced environments and make decisions under pressure.

Required skills

• Proficiency with AutoCAD.
• Experience using MS Project.
• Familiarity with Revit.
• Hands‑on experience with surveying and measurement tools.
