Senior Site Engineer – Civil & Mechanical

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Senior Site Engineer to lead civil and mechanical works on our large‑scale piling, foundation and infrastructure projects across Nigeria. You will supervise daily site activities, ensure compliance with design specifications and drive projects to successful, on‑time completion.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate day‑to‑day construction activities on‑site.
• Ensure works follow approved drawings, specifications, quality standards and safety regulations.
• Monitor progress, prepare regular site reports and communicate with project managers, consultants and clients.
• Conduct site inspections, resolve technical issues promptly and enforce HSE policies.
• Manage subcontractors, site personnel and multiple work fronts efficiently.
• Assist in planning, scheduling and execution of project activities.
• Review site measurements, material usage and work progress.
• Mentor junior engineers and lead technical site teams.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or Mechanical Engineering (minimum Second Class Upper).
• 7–9 years of proven experience in construction project execution and site supervision.
• Strong knowledge of construction methodologies, engineering standards and HSE practices.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, specifications and project schedules.
• Excellent leadership, communication and problem‑solving abilities.
• Willingness to travel and work on project sites across Nigeria.
• COREN membership or other relevant professional certifications are a plus.
