Senior Mechanical Engineer

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Mechanical Engineer to lead the design and development of mechanical systems for a variety of construction projects. The role involves overseeing technical drawings, ensuring compliance with COREN standards, and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to deliver high‑quality solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain mechanical systems and components across diverse projects.
• Lead creation of technical drawings using CAD and Revit software.
• Oversee plumbing and design work within a consulting design environment.
• Apply advanced knowledge of thermodynamics and materials science to engineering solutions.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure project alignment and technical excellence.
• Ensure all designs meet COREN standards and relevant industry regulations.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum 15 years of relevant engineering experience.
• Professional certification or licensure preferred; COREN‑registered engineer.
• Experience working in a consulting design company, including plumbing and design projects.

Required skills

• Proficiency in CAD and Revit software.
• Experience with SolidWorks, AutoCAD, and CATIA.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, thermodynamics, and materials science.
