Senior Architect – Contractor (Lagos)

About the role

We are looking for a senior architect to lead the design and delivery of architectural and interior projects for The 4th Place in Lagos. The role involves managing the full design process from concept through construction documentation and site supervision.

Key responsibilities

• Lead schematic design, design development and production of working drawings, including floor plans, ceilings, MEP.
• Coordinate project schedule and maintain timelines.
• Meet clients to capture project briefs and conduct field measurements and detailed site surveys.
• Prepare and update furniture, finish schedules and related documentation.
• Manage project execution by coordinating consultants, contractors, vendors, budgets and site activities.
• Produce accurate construction drawings, specifications, schedules and documentation.
• Supervise site work, ensure quality standards, resolve technical issues and align delivery with design intent.
• Continuously explore new design and construction methods and ensure detailed design information.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of architectural experience, preferably in commercial interior projects.
• Strong communication skills in English, both written and oral.
• Professional CV and a comprehensive portfolio of real‑world architectural projects.
• Demonstrated project management and on‑site supervision experience.
• High creativity, attention to detail and ability to work collaboratively in a team.
