Senior Accountant – Retail

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Senior Accountant to lead accounting and financial operations across our retail, wholesale, e‑commerce and physical store channels. The role is fast‑paced, detail‑oriented and central to providing accurate financial reporting for strategic decisions.

Key responsibilities

• Manage daily accounting operations and maintain accurate financial records.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual financial reports.
• Perform bank, POS and payment‑gateway reconciliations.
• Monitor cash flow, working capital and ensure compliance with tax, VAT and statutory regulations.
• Manage accounts payable and receivable.
• Oversee inventory accounting, stock valuation and work with Operations and Warehouse teams to ensure inventory accuracy.
• Prepare budgets and financial forecasts.
• Support management with financial analysis, business insights and coordinate external audits when required.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of experience in a senior accounting or finance role within retail or e‑commerce.
• Strong understanding of inventory accounting and stock reconciliation.
• Proven ability to prepare management reports and financial statements.
• High level of integrity, attention to detail and strong analytical/problem‑solving skills.
• Experience in beauty, cosmetics, skincare, pharmacy, fashion or FMCG sectors is a plus.

Required skills

• Proficiency with accounting software such as QuickBooks, Zoho Books, Sage or Odoo.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
