About the role

As a Senator at the World Law Student Association Senate House, you will join a global network of law students to shape policy, conduct research, and support advocacy initiatives. This remote position offers the chance to engage in high‑level discussions and contribute to the legislative process within an international student organization.

Key responsibilities

• Participate in virtual committee meetings, debates, and consultation sessions on issues affecting the association.
• Assist in drafting motions, policy briefs, position papers, and reports.
• Collaborate with fellow senators and regional coordinators to develop and refine policy proposals.
• Gather feedback from members, represent their perspectives in parliamentary sessions, and contribute to working groups.
• Engage with the Senate House and broader association to promote ethical leadership and inclusive decision‑making.

Required profile

• Law students worldwide (current enrollment or recent graduation).
• Individuals with legislative or advocacy experience are highly considered.
• Strong ability to work independently in a remote environment and manage time effectively.
• Excellent collaboration skills across cultures and time zones.
