About the role
SANY Nigeria is rapidly expanding its market presence and is looking for experienced Sales Managers to lead the commercial division across multiple regions. The role focuses on heavy‑duty trucks, electric/fuel trucks, and certified pre‑owned machinery, driving market penetration and delivering tailored fleet solutions to major industrial clients.
Key responsibilities
- Lead end‑to‑end B2B sales cycles for premium heavy‑duty and electric/fuel trucks in Lagos, Abuja, and Kano.
- Develop and manage corporate accounts in construction, mining, logistics and government sectors.
- Educate clients on total cost of ownership savings and sustainable fleet integration.
- Oversee the pre‑owned equipment portfolio, evaluate trade‑in units, determine residual values and build a network of secondary buyers.
- Prepare competitive commercial proposals, financing structures and bulk fleet trade‑in strategies.
- Monitor competitor activity, import regulations and market pricing trends.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
- Minimum 5 + years of progressive sales experience in heavy machinery, industrial automotive or commercial fleet sectors within Nigeria.
- Proven track record in the chosen specialization (trucks, EV/fuel fleets, or pre‑owned machinery).
- Established portfolio of corporate buyers and decision‑makers in the Nigerian construction or logistics market.
