Sales Floor & Inventory Assistant

About the role

We are looking for a proactive Sales Floor & Inventory Assistant to join our Lagos store. You will be the first point of contact for customers, ensuring a smooth shopping experience while maintaining accurate stock records.

Key responsibilities

• Greet customers promptly, answer product queries and provide friendly service.
• Identify phone models and accessories, verify items before handing them to the cashier, and record each transaction in the inventory log.
• Return cartons and products to their correct shelves, keep storage areas organized, and update stock records for new arrivals.
• Report any discrepancies between system stock and physical inventory and assist with regular stock counts.
• Process waybill requests accurately and maintain a clean, efficient work environment.
• Stand for extended periods while performing duties on the sales floor.

Required profile

• Minimum OND qualification in a relevant field.
• Up to 24 months of experience in a retail or inventory setting.
• Strong attention to detail, good communication skills and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
• Physically able to stand for long periods in a busy store environment.

Required skills

• Proficiency with computers and basic inventory management systems.
