Remote Data Scientist (Contract)

About the role

We are looking for a skilled Data Scientist to join our team on a contract basis. This remote position offers flexible hours (10‑40 hrs/week) and the opportunity to work on end‑to‑end data projects that drive business impact.

Key responsibilities

• Collect, clean, and preprocess diverse data sets to ensure integrity and readiness for analysis.
• Develop, validate, and implement statistical models to extract actionable insights from complex data.
• Conduct exploratory data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for improvement.
• Present findings and recommendations through compelling visualizations and reports for both technical and non‑technical audiences.
• Collaborate closely with team members throughout the project lifecycle, from ideation to delivery.
• Continuously improve analytical methodologies and automate data workflows.

Required profile

• Strong experience in statistics, mathematics, and data analysis techniques.
• Proven ability to handle and clean large, complex data sets.
• Experience building and validating predictive models.
