About the role
We are looking for an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join our construction team in Lagos, Marina. The role focuses on on‑site measurement, cost tracking and supporting the senior surveyor with variations and commercial records.
Key responsibilities
- Conduct on‑site measurements of completed works across all blocks.
- Agree monthly interim valuations with subcontractor commercial representatives.
- Record and reconcile day‑work sheets and maintain the day‑work register.
- Monitor material deliveries against programme requirements and budget allowances.
- Support the Senior Quantity Surveyor with variation measurement and assessment.
- Maintain site commercial records such as delivery notes, labour returns, plant records and cost‑implicated site instructions.
- Report any commercial issues on site to the Senior Quantity Surveyor immediately.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying.
- Minimum six years of site quantity surveying experience.
- Strong interpersonal skills for commercial negotiations with subcontractors.
- Well‑organised with the ability to keep accurate daily commercial records.
